Editorial Policy
Effective date: September 14, 2026
USTAD (ustadpk.com) is committed to publishing useful, clear, and responsible educational and public-information content for students across Pakistan. This Editorial Policy explains the standards we follow when creating, reviewing, updating, and correcting content.
Our Editorial Purpose
Our purpose is to make learning resources and important student information easier to understand and access. We publish content relating to class notes, solved exercises, numerical guides, educational news, date sheets, board examinations, scholarships, government schemes, teaching jobs, and other career-related opportunities.
We aim to present information in a practical, student-friendly format without misleading claims or unnecessary complexity.
Accuracy and Source Verification
We make reasonable efforts to check facts, calculations, dates, eligibility criteria, and source links before publication. For time-sensitive information such as examination schedules, board results, admissions, jobs, scholarships, and government schemes, we aim to rely on official announcements, notifications, advertisements, or primary sources wherever available.
Because official information can change, visitors should always confirm important details directly from the relevant education board, department, university, employer, testing service, or government authority before taking action.
Educational Content Standards
Study notes, textbook solutions, explanations, numerical guides, and other learning material are prepared to support understanding and exam preparation. We aim for content that is:
- Clear, well-structured, and appropriate for the relevant class or subject;
- Helpful for independent learning and revision;
- Original, responsibly adapted, or properly attributed where required; and
- Reviewed for obvious factual, language, and calculation errors before publication.
Independence and Transparency
USTAD is an independent platform. Advertising, sponsorship, or third-party links do not determine our editorial conclusions. If any content includes a commercial relationship, sponsorship, or material affiliation, we will aim to identify it clearly.
USTAD is not an official representative of any education board, government department, university, employer, or scholarship provider unless explicitly stated on the relevant page.
Corrections and Updates
We welcome correction requests from students, teachers, readers, rights holders, and official organisations. If a factual error, outdated detail, broken link, or unclear explanation is identified, we will review the issue and make an appropriate correction or update where necessary.
For rapidly changing information—such as jobs, admissions, results, scholarships, and date sheets—we may revise, replace, or remove content after new official information becomes available.
Use of Technology
Tools may assist with research, formatting, language, or content preparation. However, human editorial judgment remains responsible for deciding what is published. We do not intentionally publish copied, deceptive, or large volumes of unreviewed material.
